Your breed certificate is an IMPORTANT part of getting your foal registered, will be included in your first shipment of semen, both you and your vet will need to fill out the certificate as you breed the mare. The form is one page and has 3 duplicates- the original/white sheet you keep and then turn over to the one Warmblood registry you have chosen to present your foal too (your foal can only be registered with only one of the following: ISR, Oldenburg NA, RPSI, Oldenburg Breeders Society - you may not do more then one, it is against the rules.) The yellow copy is for your records. The pink copy MUST be sent to Silverwood Farm by October 1st the year your mare was bred. The gold copy is for the other registries such as Performance Horse registry. Pinto Horse (PtHA) requires their paper for registration to be signed and will not accept bred cert. Please email me for a signed PtHA registration application.

The American Warmblood Society

Did you know there are 2 similar sounding Warmblood associations in North American - the American Warmblood SOCIETY and the American Warmblood REGISTRY. After careful research and consideration, we have elected to align ourselves with the AWS (American Warmblood SOCIETY) and all foals by our stallions are eligible for registration with the AWS and NOT the AWR American Warmblood Registry. This has created some confusion with some breeders in the past and we just wished to clarify our position with regards to our stallions and each registry. Many thanks for your continued support and understanding.

An easy way to remember which we work with is to think of the "S" in Silverwood and the "S" in Society
