I had a foal by Spectrum years ago and I LOVE him! He is 17.1 and is so sweet! I was even thinking about getting the 2011 foal by Decoupage, just because the foal looks so similar. I was really looking forward to seeing the 2011 foals and I was not disappointed, you have really done a wonerful job.

i can relate to your tornado destruction, ours was a hurrican sept '04 & if i woouldn't have evacuated to the florida state fairgrounds, my best horses would have died, the eastern side of the barn collapsed. that was buiilt quicker than our home, it took exactly 1 yr

Just wanted to comment on how Liz Hall doesn't just deliver great colored horses, but also delivers incredible service as a professional breeder. We have had some unpleasant experiences with some very unprofessional breeders; but Liz Hall is OUTSTANDING and VERY PROFESSIONAL!!! I just received a gift of a Sempatico stud colt born on July 4, 2008. He is out of a Clydesdale-cross mare and is B&W. At 1.5 years he stands about 15.1 hands, so should be a big boy. I usually acquire babies to train to be safe and do low level eventing and sell by the age of 5, but I may just keep this boy a stud and make more!

(Normally I don't need to respond to Guestbook entries, but thought I'd address your concern) Hmmm...I KNOW you don't list all the foals (Yes we do, all of our foals I have bred from 2000 on are listed) because my riding instructor has an Art Deco baby, I believe he's 2001, and he's not on any of the years (perhaps he was bred by someone else or he was prior to the years we started listing all the foals on web--Anyway there are no missing or secret foals, if we are the breeders then they are listed here, even ones who where not perfect, or who didn't make it, like our twins). He's a big bay pinto, out of a Thoroughbred mare. I'm not sure who the dam is exactly. However, I love looking at your website! Very nice! (Thank you glad you enjoy visiting it)!

I just purchased Dry Clean Only (out of Royal Mark by Hallmark/Hall of Fame/Art Deco) by Frisk Me Now. He is the most fabulous creature ever
he looks just like Art Deco and has the disposition of a lapdog. We are working hard together and hope to make a big splash (that's his stable name !) in the dressage world very soon. Everyone who sees him is speechless and gasps! I'm afraid to measure him but I swear he's 17.3 hands. He will be my champion
I will get some photographs soon. I am so thrilled and priviledged to have an Art Deco horse.

I want to tell you how fabulous my Hall of Fame daughter (8 yrs) is and how I think your stallion and the breeder's program was a match made in heaven.
She is an Eventer - Training Level (could certainly move up but I can't), awesom dressage, fearless cross country with a jumping potential that has never really been tapped.
A professional competes her at Training one week and two weeks later she's safely carting me around a Beginner Novice course. Her brain is the best and her work ethic rivals a work aholic...

I have just acquired an Art Deco baby (not exactly a baby now though... he's 13) and he is absolutely wonderful... so kind and patient with my eleven year old... he's really teaching her how to ride a horse after riding ponies for so many years. He is a 17.1hh chestnut, and unlike dad, doesn't have a stitch of white on him, but he is still stunning nonetheless!!!

I have an Art Deco baby and was curious to see his Daddy's website. Mine is Decopauge, but we've changed his name to Fit to Print. He's been VERY successful in the hunter ring-I currently show him in the Adult Amateurs. After seeing Art Deco's face, oh, my gosh!.....they are definitely father and son. I have been frequenting your website for many years and am a huge fan of your horses. I live in MA, originally from Roanoke, VA. I have been hoping to visit Silverwood Farm for quite some time now as I very much want to see your horses in person. Last Saturday I woke up and thought I just have to see a horse today, be in a barn, smell the hay, etc. I'm sure you know the feeling. So I decided, arbitrarily to visit a barn I knew of near my home in Hudson, MA. I stopped by the office to make sure it was okay if I looked around and then stopped by one of the barns. The moment I walked through the door, I saw a large bay and white mare being groomed right in the doorway. I couldn't believe it! I actually recognized this horse from your website plus, this was a really nice barn and I knew this couldn't be just a regular pretty paint. I asked the lady grooming her who the sire was and when she said Hall of Fame I couldn't believe it! I said, "from Silverwood Farm? with Art Deco, Sempatico, Spectrum and SOTA?" As it turns out the mare was Fame & Frolic who I've seen on your website before and I actually recognized her! I felt like I had met a rock star!!! A Hall of Famer lives right near my home! The owner, Suzanne, was very surprised that a stranger arbitrarily walking in recognized her horse as being from Silverwood Farm (or at least Silverwood Farm get). Can you believe it? Pretty arbitrary but I still felt lucky. I've finally seen a Hall of Fame baby in the flesh. I'm hoping to visit your farm in '06 in time to see your '06 babies. Hey im Ana!
On May 21st, my horse Rascal had a foal out of my mom's stallion American prince(Art Deco baby) and shes B-E-A-U-T-ful! Shes a little love! And I would love to thank Art Deco for that gene because he passed on to Prince who gave it to Ara. If you want to check out the baby go to www.whisperingwoodfarm.com he has another foal due next year to our mare Jills Fossy, and we bred Fancy Flare to Blonder Hans... so we will have some beautiful babies next year! I have a TB mare in foal to Hall Of Fame for next year, I also bought a filly breed by Liz Scribble, you cam see her on the 2003 foals page, she is By Spectrum out of Decoupage by Art Deco. I love this filly and could not have asked for a better cross. I love everthing about silverwood farm and its horses. Keep it up Liz.
